Default for Brian, Are you still trying out the elevator?

I am curious if you are still working on the space elevator project? I am a new member, by the way, and a budding roboticist. I had noticed an early post that made mention of how this or these competition(s) were mainly programming based. I have a far greater interest in the nuts and bolts side. Anyway, just interested.

Yes, I am still in this. I have mainly been posting on our web site. www.kcspacepirates.com

The NASA centennial challenges are each targeted at a core engineering problem. This makes them less of a programming problem and more of a building problem. Let me know how interested you are and I can add you to our announcement list or invite you to our next meeting.
